[HOME][STORE LOCATION][AUTO VALUE SERVICE CENTER][FEATURE][EQUIPMENT][NEWS] Genuine Auto Parts and Auto Value Dealers Join forces for the 2008 Charity Car Program Preparation for the 2008 Grand Event has already started! Charity Cars photos .. A Day to remember 2007 2008 Genuine Auto Parts, the leader in Auto part services in the Greater Dayton and surrounding areas, joined forces with the Charity Car Program. Customers of Auto Value Service Dealers listed below can donate cars and vans. The cars will be inspected and repaired with parts donated by Genuine Auto Parts and UCI Midwest. Genuine Auto Parts General Manager, Max Williams, said the cars will be donated to battered women. The battered women candidates are selected by several women's shelters from surrounding counties. The shelters are listed below. Goals have been set to give more cars away in order to exceed last year's success! AAA Miami Valley has joined the community wide event by providing appropriate size child safety seats donated by the Junior League of Dayton. This includes proper installation instructions by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians. Recipients of each donated vehicle also received a FREE one year AAA membership. Cars were turned over to the recipients on October 11, 2008 from 10AM to 4PM The presentation Ceremony is planned to be held at Quaker Steak and Lube in Beavercreek Nathan Baker of WRGT FOX 45 TV is planned to be MC of this event. Greg Sucher of WHIO radio plans to hold his weekly Auto Talk broadcast during the festivities.
